KeLCoP Mourns the Loss of Livestock Marketing Specialist – Colleagues Unite in Candlelight Tribute

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague Lydia Chepchirchir Kimachas who until her demise was the Livestock Marketing Specialist, at the KeLCoP. Her untimely departure leaves a profound void in our team, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Yesterday, the KeLCoP family gathered to pay tribute to Lydia by uniting in the solemn act of lighting candles in her memory. This touching gesture served as a poignant reflection of her impactful contributions to our project and the livestock industry at large. Her passion, expertise, and dedication were instrumental in shaping the success of our livestock marketing initiatives.

As we navigate through this loss, we invite our community to join us in Lydia for her enduring spirit and the positive influence she brought to our team. The candles flickered not only in mourning but also as beacons of the lasting impact she had on each of us. In honoring her legacy, we find strength and inspiration to continue the work she so passionately pursued.

The cottage will leave Eldoret Hospital Nursing Home, Eldoret on Friday 19th Jan 2024 at 2 p.m. for her home in Chaptais Bungoma County.  She will be interred on Saturday 20th Jan 2024

May Lydia's memory live on in our hearts, and may we carry forward the torch of excellence that she lit within the KeLCoP.
